Inspired by the USA’s Route 66, our own, increasingly popular tourist route, the NC500 actually runs from Inverness to Durness so Daviot is well placed to act as a great base for exploring this beautiful part of the world. It is worth taking at least 2-3 days here to fully exploit the local attractions.
